Working in a coal mine going down and down
Looong day of work, mostly because I couldn't leave things hanging since I have tomorrow off of work. I don't know if that means I'll get some laptop time but I am hopeful. I know there are holiday lights to string up in my future and some meal prep for T-Day.
I'm looking forward to next year's writing and I think I really want to work on original stuff. I'm going to aim at about three projects with an allowance that I can write short stories when those projects get to the slogging stage. I'm hoping this will lead to my actually finishing something for once.
And at least one of those projects is a fanfic idea which I liked so much I decided it needed to be its own thing and not based on another person's IP.
I also want to sit with Milanote to outline canon plots for Milliways pups. It seems a good way to keep track of things and more organized than Google Docs. I'll find out.
Face is gettign fuzzy again. Not sure if I'll let the beard grow out or not.
And lastly, the best thing about adopting a dog (or other pet really) is knowing that there is at least one life in this challenging world that you've made good. And they are not afraid to show that to you.
