More on last week's Mandalorian and some on this week's. Some negative comments and spoilers coming. You've been warned.

So now that it's been a week and the afterglow of nostalgia has faded, and less than impressed with Ahsoka's live action debut. I think that's the danger of writing bits that really serve no purpose but to pull at those fond memories, the emotion fades and if there isn't viable story behind it, you end up with nothing. I mean, Ahsoka's role in the Mando's could have been accomplished by a treasure map. I mean, I guess it was a teaser for the rumored Rebels sequel?

And yes, the height of her montrails did bug me. Not as much as some people but I did keep noticing it. I guess it wasn't a deal breaker for me as I'm used to comics and artist styles can do wild things to characters.

But beyond the montrails, she just felt flat? Like I'm used to the person who always seems to have some motion to her. Who gives emotive glances and has a brightness to her voice. Rosario just did bad ass and none of the brightness. There way none of the athleticism or acrobatics to her fighting either. Like Ahsoka moves around! She plays with the entire area she's fighting in because she knows where it is. She doesn't move sedately or with any sort of tension. And that just wasn't there.

Speaking of fight, how the hell did random Imperial magistrate disarm the woman who has fought Asajj, Grevious, was trained by Anakin, as well as Obi-Wan and Yoda, handed two Inquisitors their asses at the same time, and survived fighting Darth Vader?!? Yes, the beskar spear deflected the lightsabers. You know what else deflects lightsabers? Other lightsabers, which Ahsoka has been dealing with since she was a youngling.

I can't decide if this is supposed to take place before the Rebels epilogue or after. If it's after, where is Sabine? If before, why is Ahsoka hunting Thrawn? Maybe it's after and they already got Ezra and Sabine and Ezra are off on another mission? Who knows.

And since when does force sensitivity fade? Is that a new thing Filoni just pulled out of his hat?

OK, enough of that. Onto this week's episode, or Things end badly for Din but Boba Fett finally gets to be a bad ass. The return of Fennic!

I loved seeing Boba, which honestly is a surprise to me as he usually doesn't do much for me but this was done very well. I loved all the gadgets in the armor! Which isn't a surprise since Robert Rodriguez directed this episode. The fight choreography was much better than last week; which made last week feel even worse.

Opps, I said no more negativity. Sorry.

And solid confirmation that Jenga and Boba are Mandalorians, though Foundlings like Din. Which I can see the elitist New Mandalorians looking down upon.

Also, more Boba and Fennic lext week as they've joined forces with Din! \o/
