A mostly relaxing day today. House chores haven't gotten done so tomorrow is going to be busy, but it's nice to have chilled.

I'm really loving Dzur and the narration for the audiobook does a good job. Not perfect, as I always "heard" Vlad with a slavic accent of some sort and this fellow sounds very American, but he does at least give Loiosh a Spanish seeming accent. On second thought, he sounds more like Peter Lorre, which has me cracking up. I'm honestly not that well traveled, so I am basing the accent on Hollywood, which I know isn't the best.

Also, look at this face. I can almost see Vlad there, even if Viggo Mortensen is half Danish and not Slavic.

I am very close to not playing Avengers Academy again. I think the only thing holding me back is my having spent money to get Jessica Drew and Valkyrie. The game just isn't fun. They keep hitting you with special events which you cant get very far in without spending money and prevent you from the main story, which admittedly is barely there. Much like the many crossovers the comics keep pushing, that have ended up pushing me out of reading them. I also am not a fan of the fact they keep throwing characters at you and you end up with so many that don't do anything. Like I have something like 40+ characters (which take up processor time since they are walking around "on campus") and yet at any given time I can only assign tasks for around 20 characters. If I could have the extras doing things like earning more coins for me, that'd be great, but they can't. Grump over.

I swear there was more I was going to say but the birds are screaming and I've lost my train of thought.

I just got through watching Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 and OMG it was a lot of fun. I think it was better than the first. There is a lot of gross or gallows humor, but nothing that wasn't shown in the Adams Family comics or movies, so if that humor works for you, I think you'll enjoy it as well.

I did notice an odd Easter egg, that is not a spoiler at all. In the credits, there a spot where they have bubbles with characters from the movie dancing. One of the bubbles had Jeff Goldblum's Grand Master, who wasn't in the movie at all. I'll have to look into how that came about. I also feel like I need to watch one if those "All the Easter Eggs You MIssed..." youtube vids cause I know there were things I saw but didn't recognize what they were.

Also, I think it'd be a hoot if we have a Stan Lee in Milliways, as he is in the MCU films. I'm just not sure how to play him. Like is he something more than human? It could be fun just to play coy with him being everywhere.
