A troupe that I don't want to read anymore

The hero blaming themselves for the actions of the villain. A hero who decides to do the thing to stop the villain, excellent. A hero who decides to do the thing because they feel guilt or a misplaced sense of responsibility makes me question the wisdom of the character. I guess it's too close to victim blaming to me or something.

Agggg...I need to sit down and force myself to write. I have a few book reviews I mean to write, RPG stuff, and a story I need to try and make a real thing. I need to just start a timer for 15 minutes and just do it.

Later though....

No really, I have work.

The story I mean to write is nebulous but I know I have three characters, maybe four. A dragon, an ifrit, and a dryad, all women and all kind of breaking the typical mold of what we think of as their kin. I think there's also an oni who might be male but enjoys wearing feminine cloths. They'll have a vessel which can travel between the planes and they'll find adventure. Problem is I don't really have an antagonist for them. I know I've read and enjoyed stories that don't really have a protagonist and I think the characters themselves could carry the story, but I'd need at least the shell of a antagonist or a goal for the group and I'm just not finding one. I think i just need to sit down and start writing, just to see what might happen.

OK, that was 10 minutes and was better than nothing.
