 Finally watched Deadpool and damn that was a good movie. I had been holding off as the reviews I'd heard of the humor had me worried but while the humor was very colorful, to use a euphemism, it didn't seem to target specific groups of people. It was crude but not attacking, if that makes sense.

Loved Negasonic.

The world is a little confusing to be as the last battle looked like it was taking place on a dry docked helicarrier. So does that mean a SHIELD exists in this world? Who knows.

That was a helicarrier. I checked- the set designers were told to create something that looked as much like a helicarrier as possible without actually replicating the ones seen in the Avengers and other MCU media. It wasn't dry-docked, though, it was supposed to be partway through the junking process for whatever reason.

Personally, I really very much appreciated Colossus' speech even if Deadpool did think he was droning on. Colossus was right. It's not your whole life that takes dedication to make you a hero. It's the four or five critical moments over the course of a lifetime that shape everything else.
