On the matter of Rand/Tybalt

So I'm rereading Rat-Catcher, listening to Tybalt's playlist, which is making me think of his time in Londonium. If my math is right, Tybalth ascended to his regency when he was somewhere around 20. That is way younger than Quentin currently is (I'm certain I remember Quentin being mentioned as being 60, which is still young by faerie standards). I know the cait sidhe have their own way of doing things but that still seems incredible, no, make that dramatically young. Not only that but he lost his sister, who he cared deeply for, at the same time. And if that weren't enough, he then had to banish his court out of Londonium to avoid a dire prophecy.

So let's recap; he lost his sister, kills his father (who was an ass and deserved it), became a king, banished his people, and but then had to stay in Londonium so no one would claim their lands. He lost everything at way too young an age. No wonder he values Toby's brand of heroism.

I've also decided that the scared ear in his cat form is from his fight with his father.
