Damnit Macintosh, why label a button delete when it is really a backspace?!?!? I just had a long post written out and lost it because instead of deleting a bit of the post, I went back in my history to the last url I visited in the tab. GGGGGRRRRRRRRR.
Anyway, things behind cuts if you are curious about what I am doing with my two newest Force users.
Once I get my ladies off of Coruscant, I aim to have Ahsoka spend some time in refugee camps, helping out as a healer rather than a warrior. I'm tempted to either side track this or spin out of it, and have her decide to free clones that got the shaft as in the webcomic Star Wars Destinies. Although, I am tempted to use Dogma and Fives rather than Slick since Slick directly harmed his brothers by being a saboteur for the Seperatists and I am not so sure Ahsoka can condone his actions. I would need to review the partial season 6 to see what happened to Fives.
Asajj will be in bounty hunter limbo until July and Dark Disciple. Once I've read that and run through the canon, I am tempted to have Ahsoka and Asajj team up to take down Maul (who is still alive when last seen in official canon, aka Son of Dathomir) and free Mandalor from his influence. This idea is based on some of the storyboard/concept art Dave Filoni released after the cancelation of The Clone Wars which showed Ahsoka and Bo-Katan (a Mandalorian freedom fighter).
Next, they'll split up with Asajj ultimately heading for Wild Space (I've got plans but don't want to ruin any surprises) and Ahsoka will head off to whatever it is she does. I'm inclined to have Order 66 hit about this time and a few weeks or months later, Captain Rex shows up, having tracked Ahsoka down. He's suffering from a mental breakdown as he fights the compulsion of Order 66 and Ahsoka manges to subdue him, and gets the organic chip removed, thanks to Milliways. Some of this will depend on the season finale of Star Wars Rebels and if they reveal who Fulcrum is and if it is who most everyone thinks.
Looking to a future living within the Empire, I am inclined to think Ahsoka and Asajj give up their lightsabers, since they would make themselves, and those around them, into targets (yes, Asajj will have people she cares about at this point). With this in mind, I am tempted to play with Force abilities and have Ahsoka adopt weaponless combat supplemented with a developed talent for tutaminis (i.e. deflecting blaster bolts and lightsabers, as displayed by Darth Vader (Empire Strikes Back), Satele Shan (The Old Republic), and Yoda (Attack of the Clones).)
With Asajj, I am tempted to make something new, a combination of force telekinesis and force weapon to create something like Psylocke's psi-blades, though I would make it only dagger-sized and not something Asajj can throw.
I think that's it. And of course, now that I have rewritten this, my lunch break is over and my inbox is full. crap.
