A funny thing realizations about representation can be.

Apologies for the "Well, duh?!?"

So last episode there was a threesome between Eliot, Quentin (sort of the main character), and Margo (Eliot's BFF). All were very drunk, like Eliot had passed out right before things happened (though he must of woken up) and all were likely emotionally compromised from an enchantment which literally bottled their emotions for three hours (this was for another plot point). Not to mention Eliot is in a very bad place emotionally on a good day lately and that Quentin is in a relationship with Alice, who was not drinking with the bunch and was outside working on spells.

Now I am seeing people celebrating the threesome and to confirmation of Quenliot, i.e. Eliot and Quentin as a couple, and I'm left wondering if people do not realize how hot of a mess this whole thing is going to be (the episode ended with Quentin waking up in the morning, flashing back to the threesome (clearly having gotten busy with both Margo and Eliot, so bravo for being clear on that), to find Alice sitting at the foot of the bed the three (all obviously naked) were sleeping on and looking very hurt.

Then it occurred to me they are celebrating it because how rare it is to show clear bisexual and homosexual intimacy, which really sucks that you have to take what you can and celebrate it, regardless of whether it is emotionally healthy or not.
