Iron Fist thoughts
OOooooO! Thanks to my favorite meta blog, Metawitches, I have a much better reason for Danny getting into K'un Lun and being allowed to compete to become the Iron Fist!

So the monks knew Gao wanted Danny and maybe saw something in him and those within K'un Lun did not. I can work with this as them trying to turn the Hands' weapon against them instead of rich white guy is better than anyone else.
