Any brewers in the house?

After tasting a sampling of this years apples from the apple tree in the back yard (not quite ready but within a few weeks), I'm tempted to try making hard cider. This recipe seems simple enough and I've got equipment for making wine (glass fermentation jug, air lock, etc.). The yeast is wine yeast though so I am assuming I will need to get some different yeast?

I am hoping that if I succeed in this I won't be so scared of trying the wine.

The challenge will be the apple press. I found instructions here but I wonder if a neighbor might have one.

ETA: And we have a juicer! This makes the process much easier.
