io9.com's Cyriaque Lamar makes The ultimate 1980s scifi and fantasy movie mixtape.

Highlights for me:
Stan Bush's The Touch from Tranformers: The Movie. Michael Bay will never be able to top the terror of the Decepticons reflected in Optimus Prime's grill as he is running them over.

Bauhaus's Bela Legosi's Dead from The Hunger. I love how much texture this song has. What's amazing about the song is they didn't use samples, it's all them or instruments. The audio on the clip they used isn't very good though. Here's a better one.

Gerard McMacc's Cry Little Sister from Lost Boys. I don't think any vampire movie has topped this one for me. Coppola's Dracula was close.

Harry Belafonte's Jump in Line from Beetlejuice. Was this really the best song for an underage Winno Ryder to be dancing to?

Queen's Princes of the Universe from Highlander, the movie they never made any sequels to in my world. This whole soundtrack is awesome btw.

But enough of me, how about you? Or what's missing from the list?
