Vague thoughts of canons and media behind the cut.
The problem with starting to look into authors and canons that don't center around white cis men is that you really start to notice when canons are missing diversity. Lately I've really picked up on how often there is only one or two women in a story and it's just : / for me. I find it's frustrating me as aside from a lack of women, the story seems great! But it just fails teh basic test of why is there only one woman here in this large group of men? Yes, this one woman is great, but there are more women in the world than your story is presenting.
OK, grump over.
