(no subject)

Is it just me or is there no point to reading comments on non-personal blog posts? For example, on many of the geek news blogs I read all the comments are negative and usually rude. What ever happened to stating a fact and supporting it with evidence? Or if you can't say something nice, don't say anything? Do you really need to say how the new costume for the Wonder Woman TV series is cheap halloween crap and the actress looks like a Megan Fox knock-off? Can't you think of a better way to say that?

I know silly me thinking an anonymous humanity might be nice or something. I just don't get the hate I'm seeing.
