I am struggling with being numb and cynical about the event and humanity in general. I am horrified by what happened and imagining the pain the friends and family, not to mention that community must be feeling, while wondering what right I have to feel these things when I have no connection to them, at least as far as I know, aside from basic humanity and feel helpless to do anything beyond my limited sphere of life to make things better for these people that are suffering and being targeted.

And Twenty One Pilots is on repeat in my head: Metaphorically I am the man, but literally I don't know that.

All speed to those who were kicked out of this life and I'm sorry someone felt you didn't belong here. I wish I could offer more.

 Trying to pick myself up from this weekend and picking out alt forms for Hank. So far I have Robbie the Robot (though maybe I'll sub Jetfire to stick with the Transformer theme. G1 looking Jetfire, not the cranky old guy from the movies as I need to make it appealing to Hank.), Princess Aura from Flash Gordon, a beagle (for LBJ), and the lego Beast.

I am amused at Hank being Princess Aura for a few days.

And it looks like Izana is getting a lego astromech, Wingblade, a red panda, and Hayate Immelman, since I've been watching Macross Delta.

 Interesting observation about Hank: if his voice is stalling, think of questions he might ask and it will wake him up.
