May. 19th, 2018 01:14 pm I'm about halfway through "Witch Hunter Robin" now and still loving it. The story is starting to shift away from monster of the week to a larger plot and Robin is getting much more active in the story, rather than passively following along.
A couple things though...
1) What is the age of majority in this world? Cause Robin is 15 and an active field agent in this super secret police force and there are 3 others that are either 18 or 17, though one 17 year old stays at HQ.
2) Robin's sight blurs when she uses her powers. I like that there is a side effect, but they gave her reading glasses to correct the problem and she doesn't even look through the lens when using her powers and yet her aim is suddenly better. Realky?
ETA: And I am officially into the second half of canon. The conspiracy I’d seen alluded to online and suspected was coming ever since this started has begun and it’s looking to be some Philip K Dick level shit, if PKD did mystic visions and hexes instead of drugs and mind tech.
