Oh...so that's it
Jul. 3rd, 2019 08:22 amI've been reading Plot Gardening by Chris Fox, and I have to say this is a great book. Kind of short, the audiobook is only 3.5 hours long, but it is very detailed and to the point. Best part, was I think i am finally understanding how to outline! I've been trying to understand how to do it, via Masterclasses and podcasts, but it's one of those things that so well know, no one really tells the ABCs of how to do it.
Plot Gardening finally explained it in a way that made sense to me and now I need to dig into plot structures.
And I've finally accepted that I am writing a slice of life romance with mystery elements. I say finally as I've been avoiding the term romance because the POV character doesn't end up in a romance with the character he first develops affection and love for. Later, he discovered that affection doesn't mean attraction and the love he feels is more kinship than romance.
