bjornwildeInspired by all the "I'm the 99%" photos, DC's blatant trend of fetishizing it's female leads and justifying it as "female empowerment" and this article at io9.com.
I only did a few as a) I am at work and b) I wanted to be sure of the characterization. I also know I could have made these a lot better looking with better fonts and such but I just wanted to get the idea out there.
ETA: I have no problem with characters being sexy or sexual. I have a problem with the mentality that making them into sex objects is empowering them or that a woman's power can only be expressed by making her sexual.
