The sun goes down, the stars comes out

The danger of setting up music for my daughter is getting her songs stuck in my head.
Anyway, today's 100 words...something original this time.
Sara had been missing for three weeks when we found her shoe. Her name really was Saraswati but she hated how formal it sounded and so insisted we call her Sara. Plus it sounded more American and she insisted that since she was born in American she was American and not Indian like her parents. Sara insisted a lot. I was sure there was more to it but Sara liked to go on rants so I never tried to get her to talk about it if I could help it.
So anyway, we found her shoe out in a field by the Coyote Creek Trail and the weird thing was, it was right at the edge of a ring of mushrooms.
Umm warning for reference to childhood abduction I guess.
