Just got back from a yoga class and am feeling content for once. I wish the classes were more than twice a month as they always manage to leave me feeling good in my skin. The apartment doesn't really have space for much home practice but I do plan on trying to do at least one downward facing dog a day.
It's interesting to note how much I try not to use muscles when I am holding poses, instead I keep catching myself locking my joints. It's also interesting to note that I use my thighs and glutes for core strength rather than my torso. Little things to work on.
It's also raining here in the Bay Area and I am loving it. The first rain after a season of non-rain always smells so nice.
