bjornwildeSlow day at work for once and yet while I have great threads I am involved in, I don't seem to have any spoons for playing. Think I'll try a playlist and see if that doesn't kick me into gear.
While I wait, a few thoughts for Mulan. Since I know what I want to do with her, to wit, making her get lost in other fable-esk realms, I need an exit plan and need to decide on a few answers for when she finds Storybrooke.
1-What happened to Philip?
Aurora was in the final crowd at the end of last season but no Philip. He could easily have been lost in the crowd but I am tempted to just have him have died while a flying monkey. If one writing trope can separate Sleeping Warrior, another can bring them back together.
2-What happened to Aurora and Philip's child?
Last mentioned in New York Serenade, Aurora was pregnant before Snow so either the child is around and they haven't show it (very possible since Aurora wasn't shown until the las episode of Season03) or something happened to the baby. I'm inclined to go with the baby is fine, likely cause I like the idea of Mulan and Aurora raising a child. ETA: Just noticed in the wiki that Aurora did give birth and the child is likely healthy.
3-How do Aurora and Mulan reunite?
Easiest way is Mulan simply asks where she is once she finds Storybrooke, Snow, and Emma. I do know Mulan will finally come clean with Aurora but will promise to be a friend while Aurora grieves for Philip, assuming I go that route with Philip.
4-What will Mulan do in Storybrooke?
Once she settles in, I think she will open a dojo which will eventually also function as a dance studio once she and Aurora get close again. The studio will have a garden area out back and be next door or across the way from Belle's library (cause Belle will be another Mulan needs to reunite with). Her armor will have a place of honor within the studio, of course.
5-What realms?
What fabled realms should she visit? I think she should visit Oz and that makes sense for the first realm, since I am having Zelena being the one banishing her from the Enchanted Forest. Narnia is another realm and Fi likes the idea of giving Tumnus some plot. Notre Dame could be interesting, as could Atlantis. I don't think I want to do too many as I know I will get lost in the details and she'll be stuck floundering somewhere.
If anyone can think of anything I missed as far as what happened in Once Upon A time or have any suggestions, please do leave a comment. =] Once I've made these decisions, I do need to write them up in a more cohesive manner and pass them by the other OUaT muns, just in case anyone has any input or objections to details.
