Funny that I can believe Selina can do the crime but not that she would be able to get rid of the loot.

Oh, that could be! I know Gotham is supposed to be set in "the past" but everyone has computers and cell phones, so I could see an online auction.

I mean, it's that or a trip to a thrift shop, or the world's least convincing garage sale.

Yeah, these we high quality furs from a store that could afford to bribe cops to keep an eye on it. I love that little detail to the show. SUch a simple way to show how corrupt the GCPD is.

I half suspect she meant to get caught since her exit was right buy said cops while she had been able to disable the store's alarm and sneak in without any signs of entry. I guess she could be young enough to not think of an exit strategy but I don't know.

Either way, I think my original impression that she steals to feed herself and not much more, needs to be reevaluated. =]
