bjornwilde I think I might have a few minutes to myself....(looks around anxiously)...nothing bad, just a crazy day at work. I've been thinking about my pups vs my actual time and energy level and decided I need to do another state of the pups post. Mostly just brain storming on my part, so nothing too important.
Ahsoka Tano: Though I love her, she's been quiet. I think I need to find time to move her forward in canon. The season 01 Ahsoka isn't as fun for me as later seasons. I also think she will be more of a play in bar pup and less a OOM pup. I could see doing OOMs for big character moments later in the series though. I'm also tempted to play with playing both younger and older Ahsoka in bar, but the possibility for messing up canon is very high and I don't know if I have the time or energy for that.
Sabine Wren: Definitely a loud voice and I think a mix of OOM and bar play, though she doesn't seem to have much traction in bar. My fault I am sure, but still a factor. I think when canon officially happens, I will be doing canon write ups but looking at how to right them as her story rather than Ezra's. This way I'm not just rewriting what SWR does better.
Shinatose Izana: Love them and don't want to give them up. Aside from a great character and canon, I think it's good to have a non-binary character in bar. I'm on the fence about if I should do canon write ups for them or just allude to events in EPs.
Hank McCoy: I feel like Hank is stalled out. I don't think I'm ready to let him go and at this point, I think EPs work better than OOMs for moving him forward.
Danny Rand: My goofy, idealistic, problematic baby. So far EPs have worked well for telling his story, but with Claire and Matt in bar, I need to consider ways to do OOMs, especially once I get to Danny meeting Claire.
Sam Wilson: I feel like Sam is floundering. I don't know if it's him getting stuck in counselor mode or my not playing him enough. I think I'm also stuck in deciding what he's been doing outside of bar.
Selina Kyle: My sweet sinnamon roll. Moving her through canon still seems to be best as allusions within EPs, but I think there will come a time when it will make sense to do an actual OOM. I'm a few episodes into season 03 and loving the friction between her and Bruce.
Tybalt: My King! At present he seems to be my strongest canon OOM pup. I haven't brought him back to bar as I want to have a good head start on Ashes of Honor, if not have the OOMs done before he comes in. Ashes takes place in a very short time, and I'd like to reflect that.
Bonus pups
Ben Grimm: Reading his time in the Guardians of the Galaxy and him playing a sort of Jimmy Cricket to Victor von Doom in Irredeemable Iron Man, as well as him and Johnny reuniting in December to begin looking for the rest of the F4 has him being back and ready for play. I think his time in Guardians will be EP hand waves, but his time with Doom will need to be OOMs as there are some awesome conversations between him and Doom.
Valkyrie/SR-142: I can't seem to get enough of her. I will wait until the movie before doing anything hasty, but I am loving her as she seems canon OOM light and a lot of fun. There might be complications with Thor and Loki being in bar, but I'm sure something simple can be worked out. Likely her hiding the fact she's Asgardian, as one of the trailers implies. I kind of want her to be on Security for some reason.
[ETA: And looking at this, I realized if I app Ben and Valkyrie, that will mean I have 5 Marvel pups. Is that too many?]

I probably should do this with mine but I've rarely had a pup be as loud as Cassian. Though Quentin's moving along and I have plans for Ivan and Sameth has new canon I want to poke at.

I originally meant to write this as a how am I playing them type of brainstorming, rather than should I be playing them. Not sure if that came across. = ]
I am very excited for Ashes of Honor tbh.
