Jul. 13th, 2007 08:16 amDidn't get to the gym this morning, but I swear I'm going this week end and will try to squeeze some time on the Stairmaster at home.
Things to do:
Make sure Katie goes to Martial Arts. Nothing beats a focused near 5 year old who is throwing jabs and reverse punches; when she can tear herself away from looking in the mirror that is. The MA helps her focus in guitar too.
See the new Harry Potter movie. That should be tonight. Rather suspicious that her school is doing a "date night" on the opening day of Harry Potter isn't it?
I have to get busy on sewing a pirate shirt and skirt so Katie can be Polly from Polly and the Pirates for a friend's Pirate Birthday Party.
Lastly, finish my logo ideas for
neos_alexandria and start new works for Hermes, Pan and either Artemis or Athena. I am thinking Artemis as I've already done Apollo. It just seems right.
If you are curious, I have a Cafe Press store with my two previous artworks for Dionysius and Apollo, Archaic Dreams.
Oh and to you San Francisco peeps who like to pretend the south bay doesn't exist...I got to see The English Beat (or The Beat if you are in the UK) last night for Free. Yes, they performed for Free. Can't think of that happening up north.
They were good too. Sounded like they do in recordings but with different arrangements to the songs. Dave Wakeling's voice didn't seem to have the range he seems to have in recordings though.
