The Escalator of Life
Mar. 22nd, 2012 01:35 pmI had every intention of getting to bed early last night but of course I ended up going to bed an hour later than the norm which is worse than I have been the past week or so. Go me?
The Spawn wants to read the Hunger Games now. I don't know about this as she's only in the 4th grade. She has read the Nicolas Flamel books and most of the Harry Potter but I don't know that I'm ready for her to dive into dystopian teens having to hunt each other. Other parents of the same class are letting their kids read the books so maybe I'm being overly protective? I'll need to see what common sense media has to say on the matter as I haven't read the books.
Work is being nutty and busy. I am still holding out hope that I can get some tagging in (Ben, Thalia and Kate ones are past due) but we shall see.
I am very close to firing Wells Fargo. It would have happened today but the branch I went to was a business only one and I had to return to work. It is going to feel good to do this.
Guess that's it for now. New books coming soon and I am still enjoying Nightlife and have returned to Magic int eh Blood as both books just got real. Next on the audiobook front is Ultraviolet which intrigues me.
