Pup musing and Dear Mun
May. 16th, 2012 11:56 amSo I just have to say dear_mun is a dangerous thing and has sucked me in. It is also a good thing as I am finding out a lot about the pups I like to play. I think I like it as it's much more anonymous than
mixed_muses or
panfandomsandbox in that the mun's account isn't associated and that leads to more impulsive play. I tend to find I second guess myself when I tag as to whether I will have the time to commit to a thread and the specter of a week or so's worth of play from one impulsive decision is always there for me. I don't mean that is a bad thing, awesome threads last a long time, but some days I just want a short, effort free exchange and dear_mun gives that.
On to the pups:
I think Kerra Holt (Star Wars: Knight Errant) is officially on the back burner. I love the character but she just doesn't seem to want to play and/or isn't popular enough that other players want to pull her out.
Dum Dum Dugan (Captain America: The First Avenger) is proving to be fun while I play him but he doesn't seem to push when I'm not playing with him. Still on the stage.
Henry "Hank" McCoy (X-Men: First Class): Is he a doctor in this movie? I know he graduated from Harvard at 15. Anyway, lots of fun and a good strong voice. Close to center stage. Also, does anyone have any good suggestions for sources of icons for Hank?
Beast Boy (Young Justice): Immature, enthusiastic shape shifter for the win! Another strong voice I want to test more but he is very close to center stage.
Griffin O'Conner (Jumper): I still like Griffin both for his character and his powers but I also like him for his gray hat and ambiguous ethics.
