This is hard to admit

 But I am enjoying FF more than Fantastic Four. Fantastic Four was setting up to be a greta ride, off to unknown parts of space and time, much like the Negative Zone story arc of John Byrne's; yet ever issue seems to have them back on Earth, though not always in the modern era. I'm also having trouble letting go of how Reed, and Tony to be honest, are still able to be on Earth during crisis, even though both are supposed to be lightyears away from Earth.

FF though has been wonderful. Funny, dramatic, consistently beautiful art and solid character growth. I'm going to be sad to see it go and I hope it is just getting a rebrand.

 Just finished Kelly Sue Deconnick and Emma Rios' Pretty Deadly and it is very good. If you are a fan of the weird Western genre or The Dark Tower, check it out! Beautiful art, fairy tale story and a nice mix of tropes and characters, both woman, POC and wicked gunslingers.

I haven't mentioned it before, but I'd like to finally say Infinity isn't really working for me. I am reading it for the Carol & Jess drama but that is it. I've no buy off on the story itself.

Conversely, Battle for the Atom has me hooked. The basis is complete nonsense, just like Hank bringing the original X-men forward to the present, but the characterization is fabulous and I am left wanting to know what is going to happen with this weird and silly story.

Maybe Hickman (Infinity) is just trying too hard and Bendis (Battle) is just having fun?

 Gah. I was feeling better this morning but slowly, as the day has progressed, I've been feeling worn out and sick again.

And just why am I tempted to mess with Jess by having her transform to this or this for Halloween? Can such drastic physical changes happen for Halloween? Another option would be changing her to a pony, using that custom build or this Deadpool cover.
