 Well Benedict Cumberbatch is confirmed for Dr. Strange. I'm disappointed but not surprised. I had hoped we might have someone who was a POC but I don't get to make the casting decisions. Nothing against Cumberbatch and yes, I am certain I will see the movie regardless.

Still, if I ever decide to play MCU's Dr. Strange, I will be using Oded Fehr's likeness cause I am stubborn.

 Watching Hemlock Grove finally and while it's entertaining, it is a bit heavy handed with the mystery and drama sticks. It is the first episode, so I am hoping they catch their stride.

ETA: In fact, it's really reminding me of those old VC Andrews books, or at least my impression of them. I never read them nor saw the movie.

ETAA: And I am now three episodes in and I am hooked. It is feeling more like Twin Peaks now that the stage is set. I noticed they're using a lot of old TV special effects, such as "driving" with a blue screen or putting a filter over the camera to simulate nighttime. Not sure if this is a stylistic thing or a budget thing. Regardless of all my quibbles, the acting is great and the story is intriguing.

 OOOOO Netflix has both seasons of Twin Peaks! I can finally see it as it was aired and not the jumbled mess that was the VCR set. =D
