So I went to see Zoolander2 so you don't have to...in bullet points.
- There were a *lot* or sex jokes. None read as cruel or misogynistic, but my M-filter is male calibrated. YMMV
- There were funny parts, but over all, I don't think it was as good as the first.
- There are fat = ugly jokes, and the BS "he's plus sized" as an excuse to accept the fat person is used.
- Again, it just wasn't as good as the first. I don't want my money back but I am finding a lot of the jokes/scenes I found funny aren't as funny the next day and don't balance out the rest of the movie.
- The narrative was two male midlife crises, which really was boring for me and didn't work with the Zoolander tone.
More later maybe.
