This morning's frustrations
Aug. 7th, 2018 09:00 am Just getting these out so I can stop the feedback loop in my head.
1. Had to reset my Apple password as I tried to buy some crystals in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
2. Ending up making the purchase twice. Shouldn't have done that, but I can afford it and maybe the purchase will give me some success with the game.
3. Still get my ass handed to me in the game, despite maxing out my top tier squad. (I swear this game is built to piss you off and get you to make emotional buying decisions.)
4. I can't seem to get my Apple magic mouse to connect to my work station and the rechargeable batteries might be at fault? I keep charging them, the charging thign says they're charged but then the mouse won't work, so I put the batteries back in the charger and the charger acts like they need charge. I cleaned the contacts so let's see if that works.
OK, I think that's it for now. I did discover a new to me band called The Essence which is total 80s proto-shoegazer and very nice.
In other news, a wild rumor appears about the long hinted at live action Star Wars TV show and, if right, could mean a Mandalore centric series, which is a win, but it'll be helmed by Favereau which I don't know. He's good but I don't quite trust him to handle women or POC well and I do not want the Mandalorians to go back to Lucas' white palette. If this happens, Sabine better be part of it.
