More on Palamedes
Jun. 9th, 2011 03:21 pm And now Palamedes seems to come from North Africa and not Babylon (as the Arthurian one does).
From pg 54 of The Sorceress and the first appearance of Palamedes: "We don't have all day. Get in." There was a hint of North Africa in the rich timbre of the voice.
Still Siddig El Fadil, aka Alexander Siddig, is Sudanese which is in North Africa. I wish the good Mr. Scott would just call him a Moor instead of a Saracen so it would be less confusing since it seems he means a dark skinned (aka black) Muslim.
