Weekly Challenge Meme and Good Reads
Jun. 13th, 2011 10:39 am First up, I'm making an effort to use my Good Reads account if anyone wants to friend me.
Second up, did much better last week with my goals!
The goals:
Spend 3 hours working out. (Success! I walked several times this week for a total of three hours plus spent about 5-6 hours working in the garden/house which involved raking gravel, heavy lifting and such.)
Write something original. (Fail, unless you want to count journal entries about real life. Which is tempting but not quite what I meant. Maybe I'll give myself half credit.)
Each at least 50% of the volume of meals as fruits or vegetables. (Success! I eat tons more veggies than usual and on those meals when I didn't do 50% the next meal I made up for it.)
Write journal entries that are about real life. (Success! I had 9 journal entries last week, 5 were links or media geeking, 4 were about my feelings and personal life.)
This weeks goals:
Not sure what to set myself up with here as I've a really short week at work and lots to do to get ready for my summer vacation next week and the termite exterminators (exterminate, Exterminate) but I will...
Do cardio 3 times for at least 30 minutes
Do strength training 3 times for at least 30 minutes. (I am going to allow any heavy lifting prep for the exterminators in this)
Sketch or write something original that is not a person journal entry...unless I make it into a story.
