This is a question for my Milliways friends whilst I eat my lunch so feel free to ignore it if you wish...I'll even put it behind a cut to make it easier.

Okay so I'm thinking about canon vs OOMs that I write and I can't help but wonder how much I need or should write of it...the canon that is.

This mostly concerns Ult. Ben Grimm and for the most part I've tried to include things from Ben's POV or his thoughts and feelings which were not presented on page when I write up canon. Still I wonder how much I should include? Do people want to read about his full canon or do I even have a right to write it up seeing as how it's nearly plagiarism to do so?

With these thoughts I've three ways to do this:
A) Only write interludes between stories but maybe include brief mentions of what has happened in canon.
B) Only include snippets of stories which have character development.
C) Include snippets of every story and use interludes to really get into Ben's psyche.

At this point I am inclined to go with (B) but maybe include a sentence or two to sum up story lines I skip. At this point Ben will have 11 or 12 story arcs to go through before he reaches what is currently the end of his canon. This does not include having him effected by events he is not shown to have been involved in such as the death of Ult. Spider-man. That is a lot to go through and I'll be honest, some of the writing (*cough*Ultimatum*cough*Ultimate Power*cough) is bad. Then there are the two story arcs with alternate realities created by time travel that get erased by the end of the story.

So what say you my trusty Milliways friends?
