Looks like we're getting Sea of Monsters after all...
Missi Pyle, Yvette Nicole Brown, Mary Birdsong Join 'Percy Jackson' Sequel as the Fates apparently.

The big four, Luke, Percy, Grover and Annabeth, are the same actors but now we have a Douglas Smith added to the cast list with no role assigned. I wonder what role he'll have. And no word of Thalia.

I thought the first movie tanked; why are they make another one? (I don't really want them to make another one. DDD: )

That said, I love ALL THREE of those actresses!

If the second can pull a Wraith of Khan and fix the problems the first movie had (No Khronos/Thalia) via flashbacks, I'm for it. I highly doubt that will happen and so I am not happy.

I'm probably one of the few who actually loved the first movie. It was ridiculous and nothing like the book, but I loved it for what it was so I am happy about another and am not ashamed!

If you are able to separate it from the book I can see it as being a fun movie. To be honest I think with some small edits and a few small added scenes it could still work and be faithful to the book.

They probably could save it. It'll be interesting to see if they try.

I want to re-watch the first now.
