Further thoughts on my current book
May. 17th, 2013 12:10 pm Tiger's Curse is a nice distraction and palette cleanser after John Dies At The End (which I swear he didn't). It is a sort of Disney take on a paranormal romance which is fine and to be honest nice as the two love interests are forced to get to know each other before the hot and heavy.
I am a little worried about White Man Saving The Day (or girl in this case) . The prince (who is under a curse and the romantic interest) is from India and yet the only girl who can help him is in Oregon and seems to be of European descent. Also, the prince is from 17th century India and is the son of an Indian monarch and an Asian princess yet has blue eyes. Maybe it's the curse?
Not knowing much about Hindu culture or mythology, so far the book does seem to treat them with respect, so there's that.
