 Thanks to this Tumblr post, I keep imaging a Hera who has finally had enough of Zeus' dalliances and, at the height of the woman's movement (or perhaps the start) leaves him and starts crusading in the mortal realm for woman's rights. I keep seeing a punk Ares in the late-70s pissed with the status quo of big government and fighting for the individual. A college bound Artemis who is inspired by Hera's rebellion and starts walking with Take Back The Night marches and working woman and youth shelters to free girls from the oppressive body images induced by American culture. I see a Zeus' in the 80s leading Wall Street and in the 90s until the dot-com bubble bursts until he wakes up and starts fighting against global warming, inspiring Gore, Gates and any other power brokers who will listen. 

Damn, this is one hell of an open ended idea.
