A very productive morning, at least on the job front. Might get some threading in as well but I've still a few folders to sheer off.

Mostly, I just wanted to take a minute and look at some new voices that are tickling my fancy and I keep forgetting the slots I am saving.

There are only four but I want to list them and think them out so I don't forget one and find some other new voice. It's getting ridiculous.

Betty ([personal profile] lets_get_stabby ) from Rat Queens. A child sized party girl who isn't afraid to get homicidal. Seems made for fun and silly with a heavy dose of crack thrown in. Not to sure if I could keep up the crack though and I'll need more practice with her. More comic issues would go a long way also. Parts of me especially want to see her threading with Varric and Stich.
Sam Wilson ([personal profile] notapilot ) from Cap2. I love this guy! I love that he wants to rescue people, whether in combat or after. I love the potential for psychology as well as playing with his sense of humor. He is remarkably grounded. And those wings! I was hooked on Sam before the movie was ever out. I am worried I won't be able to get his humor right.
Ethan Chandler ([personal profile] such_sins ) from Penny Dreadful. Right now we don't know much about Ethan beyond that he's a sharp shooting gunslinger from America with a dark past. He strikes me as conflicted. He'll go from one scene with casual sex, promising to remember the woman, despite not ever asking her name, to striking up an honest friendship with Brona (Billy Piper's character) who he knows has worked as a prostitute. Just a friendship mind you, he honestly wants to know her and he treats her with complete respect. He also hires himself out as a gunman without knowing a thing about his employer's purpose and doesn't ask any questions. Fans, myself included, think he is a were-wolf but there has been little evidence of this. Unless an injury on his right hand that has been pointed out three times now is anything to go by.
Lastly, Sabine Wren ([personal profile] explosive_artist ) from the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels. We know next to nothing about her except that she is Mandalorian, she is an explosive's expert, and she is a graffiti artist. Given the show hasn't started and won't be starting until September, I doubt I'll be signing her up for anything soon. I'd place bets on November or December though, enough time for a few episodes to air.
