 Things I have learned in doing Tybalt's OOM and in writing some for Sam, I think for me I need to write what I remember of a scene without the source materials first. Then, once that is done, refer to the source materials. This allows me to not only add my own voice to the canon but to condense it so it doesn't turn into info dump, as I do with Andrea's OOMs.

Now to review the dialog for Sam and Steve at the VA building.
