 Kind of getting back on the horse this morning. I wrote up a pre-Milliways OOM for Rollo but then choice in breakfast food seems to be sitting poorly and now I am all blek.

Also, eBooks Tree seems to be having a rash of people making PDFs of fanfic from AO3 and uploading them without any notification to the authors. I was surprised to find one of my pieces on there, given how little I actually write. If you've posted anything on AO3 and don't want it posted anywhere else, it might be a good thing for you to go and search by your AO3 ID. I found my one piece via a direct search, rather than the author index.

It kind of feels weird having something of mine pirated. On one hand it's like "achievement unlocked", on the other, it's "hey, that's my stuff". I'm certain I'd feel more strongly if it was a published work. Weird, I just looked in order to send a desist notice and my piece is gone.

Daredevil continues to be brutal and awesome, and I say awesome not because of the brutality. I'm up to episode 7 now and Stick was just perfect. Still bugged by a plot hole that is being ignored but I won't say it since that'd be a spoiler if you haven't watched it.

OK, going to try some tea and see if it will settle my tum tum.

I'm enjoying Daredevil too, last night I watched the first four episodes. Its not a comic I know well but its hooked me.

The website stuff is a mess. Yesterday I was so tired that I didn't feel up to doing anything but now to see what of mine is up there.

I think I am enjoying DD because it shows how hard fighting really is, unless you have physical super powers that is. You see that cost Matt's chosen methods cost him.

I also like how they are expressing his sensory powers. That his spacial awareness is more a combination of his other senses rather then the passive radar they show int eh comics.

Yes, the way they use the sound design to show how he's working. I love how it feels real but also with those moments of comics too.

I imagine that if anyone ever made an October Daye series, this is kind of how it should feel. Bruising with moments of brightness and humor in the dark and always showing the cost. Oh, thinking of that, would you be interested in a Quentin for Rollo?

No worries! I took it as a warning. Plus, I'm not the sort to get bent out of shape with spoilers. I enjoy seeing the path to the end of the story sometimes, as well as being surprised by the end when I don't know it.
