Can I just say I am really enjoying the moderate build up in The Gifted to the obvious conflict/war between humans and mutants? And the fact they're having mutants reluctant to fight back, like actually worried about how much damage they can cause? I am also loving that they are not flinching from the racist/marginalized group parallels. And that they are showing the Struckers earning a place with the mutants, rather than just giving a speech and everyone loves them.
Lots of very good conflicts that aren't solved by the usual speech or fists flying.
