 Fun article on the reading order of the Dragaera/Vlad Taltos series by the author himself.

Heh -- I totally want to try reading them in Cycle order when the series is complete.

I've actually tried to look at what bits of the series can be read in Cycle order already, although it didn't give me any particular insight but:

- Phoenix-Dragon -- Vlad at inflection points, I guess?

- Tiassa-Hawk-Dzur-Issola [definitely crazy-making to read Issola after Dzur, heh] -- but this is kind of the fun hijinksy stretch

- Vallista-Jhereg-Iorich -- this one's an interesting triad! I think it would probably do a good job of showcasing Vlad's growth over the series.

- Yendi-Orca-Teckla-Jhegaala-Athyra-Phoenix -- other than being super-depressing towards the end, IDK what this progression would really DO, but it is interesting to see Jhegaala and Vlad's Easterner discoveries right after Teckla, and Athyra (where he gets to know a Teckla and we get a Teckla POV) right after.

I would be very interesting to read them in Cycle order. Someday I'll have to read them with an eye for beyond Vlad's story and into the meta.
