Current writing struggle, now that I have a better handle on Milanote, is finding proper PBs for my characters. As I mentioned before I'm playing with an idea inspired by a Spider-Woman Noir AU but at the same time I am not sure if I want to make my two protags being white women as Jess and Carol are...as much as I love Jennifer Connelly for Jess. I do have a vague idea of Danay Garcia (Fear The Walking Dead) for the Jess stand in and Tessa Thompson for the Carol stand it, but my first instinct is Jess being white. Internalized racism? Could be!
I think I'll just grab pics of Danay and Tessa and get back to the brainstorming. If they work and take up space in my head, awesome.
Or maybe Lyndie Greenwood (from The Expanse and Sleepy Hollow) for Carol.
Or Alycia Debnam-Carey for Jess (The 100 and Fear The Walking Dead).
