bjornwildeSo I am cleaning and getting rid off all the cobwebs. Dragging around the vacum cleaner I am sucking them all up when I nock over my water glass..Crash...Shatter....Fuck. I start cleaning it up, get all the big pieces and start to walk toward the garbage when one piece falls and gashes my toe. Not happy. I yell and curse for a while until I notice I am getting blood every where. Not good.
So I hobble to the bathroom and wash it off. It is bleeding quite profusely. The thought of Bleeding to death crosses my mind. Atleast the cut is a clean one and I don't need to worry about a flap of skin or anything like that. Anyway, balancing with my foot in the sink I am getting blood all over the place as I try to get a band aid from the cupboard. I get the first band-aid on and the bleeding just kind of snickers. So I take that band-aid off and rinse the wound again and start applying direct presure. After a mintue or so I put a new band-aid on. This time it holds. While I was getting the band-aid on I did notice that the gash isn't that deep. At least not deep enough to need stiches.
Now I get to clean up my blood! A few things I learned...409 is good from cleaning blood off of hard wood floors and bathroom tiles, but doesn't work on grout. Resolve carpet cleaner is good for getting fresh blood out of carpets. Those new pledge wipes a good for picking up small pieces of glass.
I now am ready to clean up after my first murder. And yes as I was cleaning up I was wondering if the FBI could detect any trace blood from my cleaning with 409. And speaking of the FBI, this is a joke. I do not plan on killing anyone now or in the future. Just in case Carnivor is listening. ; } These thoughts also planted a story idea in my head. Could be worth exploring...
So after I get this all cleaned up, I get ready to lay down with my feet elevated to inhibit the blood flow. Yes the cut is deep enough I may need to do that to help stop the bleeding. Anyway, I get a phone call from TAC Staffing. The have a temp job for me! It is in Fremont and is only for a week, but it will mostlikely be for $26 and hour!
