Further adventures in work-out land
Feb. 9th, 2007 07:37 amSo I worked out again...one whole week...5 days in a row...this from a guy who, until last week, had trouble getting his sorry ass out of bed before 5:30 am to get on the road by 6am to get to work on time.
Don't think I have trouble getting myself going, but it is becoming easier.
Good work out this morning...Except the treadmill I was on keep kind of slipping, which kept throwing my pace off. Just when I would get into it too.
Todays Playlist (note, the bold italic comments reflect what I was doing during the song):
Like A Virgin (LCD Mix) - Annabella Lwin (warm up)
Spice - Eon (warm up)
The Broken Ones - Diva Destruction (Ran)
The Silver Circle - Faith & the Muse (Ran)
Rasputin - M. Steven (Ran)
Go! (Opening) - Tomandandy Killing Zoe soundtrack (Ran)
Red Drugs - Tomandandy Killing Zoe soundtrack (Ran)
Z Names - Tomandandy Killing Zoe soundtrack (Cool Down)
Yes...that translates to just a little over 20 minutes of running which was at 5mph. That's the danger of listening to fast music, walking just doesn't cut it.
I even managed it without sucking wind! I'll see how I'll feeel this week end and decide if I should step up my cardio workout. I don't want to get exercise induced asthma or hurt myself.
And I need to get back to weight lifting. Killer quads would look weird without upper body balance. = ]
