This one's weird, Hundreds Protest Dalai Lama in Seattle. I don't get the accusations that he is prompting the violence in Tibet; isn't Buddhism any-violence?
Very nice picture of Phobos, one of Mar's moons. I could be wrong but I remember seeing that to date that is the largest impact crater in the solar system; I just can't remember where I saw that. Oh and the resolution of the original image is 7 meters per pixel. Yes that was right, 7 meters per pixel. I don't know if that image has been reduced but it is 13 mb.

ETA: I was wrong about Phopos' crater. It is not the largest in the solar system. What is interesting about it is that had the meter been larger it would have shattered Phobos and that eventually Phobos will break up and collide with Mars. Here's a picture of just teh crater if you want a closer look.
