Spring fever
Apr. 7th, 2014 09:38 amHer Ladyship is home sick today, so I am scrambling this morning to Get All Things Done (tm) since I will be leaving at lunch to relieve the Wife so that she may go to her work. This is likely a good thing as I seem to be fighting off what ever Her Ladyship has. I've been feeling rundown and hot yesterday and now this morning.
Which means I should be able to get some focused threading down once I am home...as long as I don't fall into the hole of Clone Wars. I am now nearly halfway through the fourth season and still loving it, though there have been a few stories which didn't seem to help the overall narrative. I do keep having to let go of the idea of physics. It's not the space dogfights or lack of aerodynamics in ships that fly in atmosphere nor people touching metal that's still glowing after being cut by lightsabers.
No, it's the instantaneous communication and travel. I mean, in the recent episode Anakin and crew were trapped on a planet in the outer rim, deep behind enemy lines, with no support. They call the Jedi Council on Coruscant (in the inner rim), have a real time conversation and get promised support within the day. I would think loading a ship would take a day, let alone traveling across a galaxy, but I guess Jedi can do amazing things.
Once I am home, I also think I will be doing a state of the pups since I seem to have a lot of ideas and voices running around.
Oh also, in my health news, my weight is done 1.04% from where I want to get away from. \o/
