And in non spoiler land

I've finally caught up on Once Upon A Time In Wonderland and to be honest, I am glad it got canceled. Don't get me wrong, I loved the series but with how Once Upon A Time has gone down hill since the first season, I'm glad we got one great season and a finish. I do have to say, they managed much more profound plot twists than OUaT ever did, at least for me.
I'm also feeling more ill so I think I need to take some vitamins and chill out.
Jess is going strong and I am loving her new series, Secret Defenders. I do wish I could get her OOM wrapped up and I need to talk with MCU Fury mun regarding whether Nick Fury Jr. looks anything like him since Jess is about to start working with him directly.
With all the talks I've been having with Ibani's mun about the Force and the two sides, Quin has really grown as a voice. I have plans for him to start a sort of guerilla war against the Empire with his family and his old Jedi master. This will be more humanitarian aimed than traditional fighting, sort of keeping the ground fertile for the eventual rebellion. Smuggling food and medical supplies to blockaded planets, freeing prisoners in labor camps, teaching freed slaves technical skills and such. Basically improving the lives of people rather than overthrowing the Empire. Sedition doesn't have to be violent.
I have the most recent audiobook of Anton's canon waiting for me but I have other series that are calling my name. I still should EP him sometime, especially with him in Olga's body. Yes, the is canon for both the books and the movies.
The last book of Brimstone's canon is out tomorrow and I am biting my nails. He likely won't be in it, except maybe in flash backs, but one can hope.
Andrea still haunts me and I have three books to get her through but she's being nice and waiting for me to get over my Star Wars phase.
Hank is still there as always but I think he needs to be doing something, either moving forward in canon or some side plot.
Val is ready to be retired but I want to give her at least a month of play before sending her off. Now if I could find that month...
New voices:
Sam Wilson: I love that he is a soldier who rescued other soldiers in war and then went on to do the same with veterans suffering PTSD. I love how grounded he is and I love his sense of humor. And what's not to love about those wings?
Sabine Wren: Star Wars Rebels doesn't even have a trailer and I am seriously looking forward to the series. We do have a teaser trailer and 2 minute character intros, so I am not flying completely blind with this one. Sabine's intro, though, was filled with so many Hollywood buzz words, I am fearful she is going to be the sassy inner city kid Disney loves to throw on the small screen. Still, I love the idea of a Mandalorian freedom fighter who tags her work with the Rebellion's phoenix and paints her armor in bright colors.
Betty: What's not to love about a canon that is basically Tank Girl in a high fantasy setting? There's just something about a homicidal halfling* thief who believes in free love. Haven't had a chance to play her much though so I'm not apping until I do.
*Her race actually call themselves smidgens since hobbit and halfling are trademarked.
