Sep. 15th, 2014 08:24 amYesterday we same The Hundred-Foot Journey , which was very good! Great cinematography, beautiful scenery of Southern France, and a fun story. Only quibble I would have is that I wish that Marguerite had been given more of her own story. I have ideas for how they could have done this without changing the narrative but I don't want to do spoilers.
One thing I really enjoyed was that there was no cultural assimilation in order for peace to happen between the two conflicts on the story. Though, I could be wrong in this seeing as how I am white and looking at cultural appropriation from the outside.
I know there were other things I had wanted to mention in this post but I can't think of what they were.
