Apr. 11th, 2018 12:03 pmSo I've got the whole week off but am home caring for the Teen, who had her wisdom teeth removed last Friday. Things are going well enough, though she's had a spike in the pain on one part of her jaw, so we might be going into the surgeon's today.
Been spending my days being vaguely useful about the house. Doing small Spring cleaning things. Mostly I've been working though my unread comics on Comixology. I sort of want to write up with comics I've really enjoyed but don't seem to have the words this morning. Maybe later.
I'm onto the third book in Farideh's canon, The Adversary, and she failed a wisdom check in this one. Either that or is at a penalty. She's been making lots of bad decisions and while it's still written well in capturing a young person's personality and thought process, it's kind of hard to watch, you know? Still I love the world building and the characters.
I've also discovered Wizards of the Coast put out novels set in the Eberron campaign setting for D&D. Which is only my favorite setting! I've already bought one of the books, Voyage of the Mourning Dawn, and look forward to reading it.
