So working along quietly, burning CDs of audiobooks and being productive when movement on the wall of my cube catches my eye. I look up and HOLY SHITE THAT"S A BIG SPIDER, as proof:


Turns out it's a Phidippus johnsoni or a red backed jumping spider. Not poisonous but its bite is painful. As soon as it decides to explore the large flat surface of the glass wall of my cube again (like in the picture), I'll try and catch it to return it to the wild.
