I am home sick today and boy am I feeling it. I think I slept for an additional five hours once I got her Ladyship to school?

Need to drag my sorry self to CVS for more tissue as well. Maybe the coffee will kick in? I might price tea kettles also as we don't have one and while a sauce pan will work, it's hard to pour without making a mess. Guess I'm something of a purist.

Tea kettles are the best. The one I have was the one my mother first bought in the seventies in grad school and I love it.

Electric ones are lovely and so shiny. I missed them when I moved back from NZ as they're so common over there. I hope you can find a good one and feel better.

WE had an electric one at our old house and while it was awesome, I still missed the whistle of a traditional kettle. = ]

My parents have a regular kettle that whistles which is also awesome. Kettles and teapots and mugs are just the kinds of things that make a house a home. I need more tea icons.
